This night, DreamHack Open Austin 2017 ended. In the final match between Gambit eSports and Immortals, Gambit won with 2:0 score.

CIS team demonstrated perfect game on this tournament. In the group stage, the players from Gambit confidently took the first place of the tournament table with 2:0 results. They beat Heroic with 25:23 score and HellRaisers with 16:7 score. As for Immortals, they demonstrated the same results, defeating Team Liquid with 16:11 score and Cloud9 with 16:7 score in the group stage.

Immortals, G2 Esports, Gambit eSports and Heroic moved to play off stage. In the semifinal matches, Immortals and Gambit eSports won, and in the final match, Gambit defeated with opponent with 2:0 score (de_train 16:12; de_inferno 16:12).
