Calyx will hold qualifiers for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021
/Esports organizer and production company Calyx has announced the return of the Dune Cup Fall Edition, a Middle East qualifier for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021. The Dune Cup Fall Edition will run from August 26-28, with all teams competing in an open qualifier.
The organizer also named StreamCards, an interactive media startup in Warsaw and IMG Worlds of Adventure, Dubai's theme and adventure park, as major sponsors of the qualifications. According to the press release, StreamCards will deliver interactive solutions, while IMG Worlds of Adventure will focus on connecting the region's esports and gaming communities.
As part of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, the organizers plan to compete for a prize pool of $ 162,500. Although the winners of the qualifiers will also receive a $ 25,000 entry fee to invest in the growth of their team and organization.
For the Dune Cup Fall Edition, four teams will receive direct invites and will be joined by two winners from each of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Levant & North Africa Open qualifiers. The finalist team will have a chance to represent the Middle East at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021. Currently, only NASR Esports has received an invite to the championship.
