The team managed to achieve this result thanks to their performance in the current Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021, which is being held offline.
Recall that during the championship, FaZe Clan defeated such opponents as Evil Geniuses, Complexity Gaming, Team Spirit and Team Vitality and advanced to the playoffs. Once in the top 6, the team has already secured a minimum reward of $ 40,000. In the quarterfinals, they will play against Gambit Esports for reaching the semifinals.
A conflict erupted between FaZe Clan analyst Vyacheslav 'innersh1ne' Razvin and famous CIS insider Alexei 'OverDrive' Biryukov.
