Based on the results of the past meetings, we learned the names of the first two participants who were destined to leave the competition, taking 21-24 places in the standings. These collectives are Bad News Bears and MIBR.

Bad News Bears faced Team LDLC in their last fight, while MIBR fought against Renegades. Bad News Bears were able to take 9 rounds on Inferno, while on Mirage they took away only 6 rounds from their opponents. MIBR, in turn, fought an extremely tight fight with Renegades. On Vertigo, the game reached overtime and ended with a score of 19-15, while on Mirage the team lost with a score of 14-16, being one step away from the second overtime of the series.

For the 21-24th place in the standings, the teams that left the competition will receive $ 2,500 each.

In the next confrontations within the Play-In stage, we will be able to watch the following matches: Complexity vs LDLC, OG vs Renegades, Team One vs Sprout and Evil Geniuses vs Vici Gaming. Complexity, LDLC, OG and Renegades will fight each other for a place in the group stage, while Team One, Sprout, EG and VG will compete for reaching the final of the Play-Off Lower Bracket.

IEM Cologne 2021 started today and will end on July 18th. The total prize fund of the championship is $ 1,000,000, and 24 teams are involved in its distribution. The main reward will be $ 400,000, and the vice champion will receive $ 180,000.
