The first match in Group B has come to an end. According to its results, Extra Salt, who recently took 2nd place at Funspark ULTI 2020, could not beat Astralis. The Danes, despite the recent changes, have become a participant in the semifinal meeting, where they will come face to face with the winner of the fight between Complexity Gaming and Vitality.

Astralis started the meeting with eight won rounds in a row and mentally crushed their rivals on the move. The next 4 rounds were able to take Extra Salt for themselves, and the first half ended with a score of 10-5. After the transition, oSee with his teammates, unlike Astralis, could not show a good defense and, as a result, the team took only 3 rounds, and the match on Nuke ended with a result of 16-8.

Earlier, four new game pairs were formed in Group A: Gambit Esports vs G2 Esports and NAVI vs Virtus.pro in the upper bracket, and Team Fiend vs Team Spirit and mousesports vs FaZe Clan in the lower bracket.

Six teams will advance to the playoffs. Only three teams from each group will be able to get into the final part. The teams that showed the best result in their eight will start their way right away from the semi-finals, while the rosters that took 2-3 places in the groups will go to the quarterfinals.
