Online tournament CYBER GOLDEN LEAGUE will kick off on October 26 and will last for more than one month. Sixteen outstanding competitors from European countries will compete for the overall prize pool of $20,000.

Format and prize pool

The main stage will consist of four rounds played in Swiss System Format. This phase will determine the eight top participants to be moved forward to the playoffs; the rest will be eliminated.

The playoffs will be a single-elimination competition with the participation of eight group stage winners and four invited teams. All matches will be held in the Bo3 format.

The prize fund will be divided among eight top participants. The lucky winner will gain $9,000, while a runner-up will get $4,500. The third and fourth places reward will amount to $1,750. 5th-8th ranked teams will take $750.

As to participants, the list of Swiss Stage invited teams is as follows:

  • AGF Esport
  • ALTERNATE aTTaX
  • Apeks
  • Cyber Legacy
  • Giants Gaming
  • Hard Legion
  • Izako Boars
  • Lilmix
  • Movistar Riders
  • Natus Vincere Junior
  • Nexus Gaming
  • Team Singularity
  • SJ Gaming
  • SKADE

Additionally, it's already known that sAw will participate in the playoffs.

Tips and forecasts

Given the participation of such outstanding teams, the event is expected to be rather remarkable. We can point out sAw as a favorite of our tournament. The team has quite a high winning percentage. These guys managed to qualify for Dreamhack and manifested themselves in the match against FaZe, which is ranked among the world’s top 10 teams.

The main rivals are Movistar Riders, SJ Gaming, and AGF. They produce good tournament results and aim to hit a world's top 30.

And such teams as Hard Legion, Cyber Legacy, Nexus, Singularity appear to be on our outsider list. There are certain reasons for that. Say, recently, Hard Legion benched kinqie and introduced two new players. Cyber Legacy didn't win any match throughout October. Nexus and Singularity had unsteady performances.

It's tough to tell you something about Navi Junior, for we haven't seen them for ages on a big stage! We don't have enough stats to go by, but still, we hope that they will surprise us to the upside!

Anyway, the competitors are quite equal; the game is going to be tightly contested.

Given the above, we suppose that Total Map and Total Round bets could be the best decision. It's also highly recommended to pay attention to drafts at the beginning of the competition and to teams' win rates. It will help you define a probable outcome and increase the chances of your win!
