Europe

In the European division in Group A, Vitality beat Fnatic 2-1. The match was very interesting and very intriguing. If the first map (Inferno) ended with a result of 16-12 in favor of Team Vitality, then on the remaining two teams it took a series of additional rounds in order to determine the winner. At Vertigo Fnatic, they managed to equalize the score with great efforts, taking a map with a score of 19-17, and at Overpass Team Vitality won a victory with a score of 19-16.

The duel between G2 Esports and Complexity Gaming did not end very quickly either, and at the same time created enough intrigue. If the first map went to G2's piggy bank with a score of 16-13, then the second team brought the game to overtime, after which G2 won with a score of 19-17.

In Group B, FaZe Clan defeated Heroic 2-0 (Mirage 16:11 ; Train 16: 3), and OG defeated BIG with a similar result (Inferno 19:15 ; Dust 2 16: 9).

North America

This region also hosted four confrontations. Group A had three matches, in which Evil Geniuses beat Triumph 2-0 (Overpass 16: 5 ; Inferno 16: 4), Whalers beat ImPerium with a score of 2-0 (Train 16:10 ; Overpass 16: 9) and FURIA defeated ImPerium 2-0 (Mirage 16:12 ; Inferno 16: 6).

Only one match took place in Group B. Within its framework, 100 Thieves were able to defeat RBG Esports without losing a single card (Nuke 16:12 ; Vertigo 16: 4).

There will be two knockout matches in Europe today. In Group A, Fnatic and G2 Esports will compete for the right to further participate in the championship, and in Group B, Heroic and BIG will fight each other.

By the way, matches in the CIS region will start on October 13.
