FUT defeat OG 2:0 in the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 Closed Qualifier

OG and FUT delivered a tense series in the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 Closed Qualifier, where the outcome was decided in key rounds. Despite a confident start and fighting until the very end on both maps, OG were unable to convert their advantages. FUT, meanwhile, showed resilience, strong defensive structure, and composure in crucial moments, securing a 2:0 victory and advancing to the next round of the tournament.

The map veto for the match was as follows:

  1. OG removed Anubis
  2. FUT removed Inferno
  3. OG picked Ancient
  4. FUT picked Mirage
  5. OG removed Nuke
  6. FUT removed Overpass
  7. Dust2 was left over

Ancient (13:11 FUT)

OG started confidently on their own map pick, winning the first three rounds. Such a start provided a solid economic advantage, but FUT managed to showcase a strong CT side and closed the first half in their favor, 7:5. In the second half, OG looked just as solid on the CT side, but thanks to auNX—who finished the map with a 30/13 K/D and a 1.97 rating—FUT were able to edge out a 13:11 victory on their opponent’s pick.

Mirage (11:13 FUT)

On Mirage, FUT managed to repeat the success of the previous map. Despite a strong start from OG, who led 8:4 in the first half, FUT regrouped and dictated the pace on the defensive side, denying OG the chance to force overtime and closing Mirage 13:11 to seal the series 2:0.

Match MVP

The best player of the match was dziugss, who delivered a strong performance across both maps and finished the series with a +5.64% swing and a 1.57 rating.
