A major update has arrived in Counter-Strike 2, sure to please both players farming for skins and those looking for new maps to spice up their gameplay. Valve keeps pushing the project forward, aiming to retain loyal fans and attract new ones. Here’s what’s exciting in this update:

Weekly Tasks Players can now complete one task per week to earn XP. These missions are available right from the main menu or in-game interface and stay active for 7 days — a great reason to log in regularly!

Map Updates Community maps removed from all modes: Basalt, Edin, Palais, and Whistle. New maps added across various modes: Jura, Grail, and Agency. Wingman mode now features Dogtown and Brewery.

The map pool in Casual and Deathmatch has also been reshuffled:

  • Defusal Group Alpha: Dust 2, Mirage, Inferno, Vertigo
  • Defusal Group Delta: Train, Anubis, Ancient, Overpass, Nuke
  • Community Map Group: Jura, Grail, Agency
  • Hostage Group: Office, Italy

Additionally, you can now adjust the background sound volume in the main menu to set the perfect vibe for your matches.
