Tournament operator Relog Media has made changes to the line-up of the upcoming Roobet Cup 2022. As a result, the Brazilian team GODSENT will not take part in the tournament, whose place will be taken by forZe. Probably, the reason for the exclusion from the list of participants was the ambulance sale of the core of the team to the 00Nation organization.

At the same time, the organizers did not specify the real reason for the replacement, but this news appeared only a few days after the first rumors about the upcoming reshuffle on the Brazilian scene appeared.

Earlier, the tournament operator Relog Media presented the composition of the English-language studio covering the upcoming Roobet Cup 2022.

Roobet Cup 2022 will be held in two stages:

  • Group stage: June 22-26.
  • Playoffs: June 27-30.

The group stage will distribute all participants into four groups (four teams in each). From here, the top two teams will advance to the playoffs, which will form a bracket with a single elimination in the fight for the main prize. All Roobet Cup 2022 matches will be held in BO3 format.

Prize pool distribution for Roobet Cup 2022:

  • 1st place: $150,000.
  • 2nd place: $50,000
  • 3rd-4th place: $15,000.
  • 5th-8th place: $5,000
  • 9th-12th place: TBD.
  • 13th-16th place: TBD.

Roobet Cup 2022 line-up is as follows: Team Spirit, Entropiq, FaZe Clan, Cloud9, Imperial Esports, MOUZ, Outsiders, FURIA, BIG, forZe, OG, Complexity Gaming, Movistar Riders, ENCE, Astralis and 9z.
