m0NESY to attend IEM Dallas 2022
m0NESY will officially take part in IEM Dallas 2022. The 17-year-old Russian esportsman announced this on social networks. Note that a few months ago, the sniper of the G2 Esports team reported missing the championship due to problems with obtaining documents to enter the United States. Probably, the organization managed to agree with the consulate in order to participate in the tournament in full force.
Recall that m0NESY joined G2 Esports at the beginning of 2022. In five months, the young sniper helped the team reach the finals of the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice. Most recently, the team played at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where they stopped a step away from reaching the playoffs, finishing 9th-11th.
IEM Dallas 2022 will take place from May 30 to June 5 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. Sixteen teams from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $250,000, as well as ranking points in the ESL Pro Tour and BLAST Premier tables.
G2 Esports received an invitation to the American Championship due to its status as a partner of the ESL tournament operator. At the same time, closed qualifiers were held earlier, following which the Looking For Org, Imperial Esports, Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming, Entropiq and MOUZ teams got the opportunity to play at IEM Dallas 2022.
