The Brazilian player fer, who plays for the Imperial Esports team, shared his impressions after defeating Cloud9 in the fifth round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 in an interview for Dust2.com.br. The esportsman spoke about the situation of his team and spoke about his skeptics.

I have no words. I am very glad that we are showing good results even considering that we have been playing together not so long ago. I'm glad, but at the same time upset that people underestimate us. At the same time, they understand that the Imperial Esports roster has great potential. Thank God, at this tournament we have the opportunity to answer the skeptics. For me and for everyone in the team, it was a success not only on the server, but also beyond. Imperial Esports' victory over Cloud9 will definitely go down in history.

In addition, fer talked about the importance of a good psychological state. The Brazilian player is sure that this is the foundation for success in the long run.

When we created the team, I said that I want to win, but the main thing is to be happy and enjoy what you do. We get exactly that. People think that success brings happiness, but the opposite is true. Happiness is followed by success. What is success for me? I'm not talking about winning trophies. At the highest level of the professional scene today, the competition is extremely high, and we are aware of our place among other teams. Everything is fine as long as you enjoy your work.

Recall that the day before, Imperial Esports beat Cloud9 with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the fifth round of the competition. Here, the Brazilian team will meet with Copenhagen Flames, playing for a ticket to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
