Team Spirit outplayed FURIA with a score of 16:12 in the first round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Now the Russian team will play in the second round of the competition, where they will meet Heroic or Copenhagen Flames, depending on the result of the match between BIG and Imperial Esports.

The confrontation between Team Spirit and FURIA took place on the Nuke map. But if the first half was marked by the superiority of the Brazilian team, then after the change of sides, Team Spirit managed to take an important force round, after which they managed to quickly catch up with the opponent. As a result, the Russian team demonstrated an exemplary attack in order to sensationally outplay FURIA in the first round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 — 16:12.

Note that in the second round of the competition, Team Spirit will play with Heroic or Copenhagen Flames. If BIG wins, the Russian team will go to Heroic. In turn, if the Brazilians win, Team Spirit will meet with the Copenhagen Flames team.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 takes place from 9 to 22 May at the Antwerps Sportpaleis in Belgium. During the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Oceania, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables, as well as one ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
