Heroic and Copenhagen Flames get their first wins at PGL Major Antwerp 2022
Teams Heroic and Copenhagen Flames got their first wins in the main stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. In the first round of the competition, the teams were stronger than Team Liquid (16:11) and Bad News Eagles (16:14), respectively.
The duel between Heroic and Team Liquid started on the Vertigo map, where the Danes showed a confident start. However, closer to the switchover, the North American team managed to catch up with the opponent, thereby reviving the intrigue. Nevertheless, the won pistol series allowed Heroic to hold back the opponent, and at the same time run ahead and get the first one in PGL Major Antwerp 2022 — 16:11.
The parallel meeting between Copenhagen Flames and Bad News Eagles started on the Ancient map, where the Kosovar team showed a confident start. However, the Danes managed to get back into the game to close the gap and get chances for a comeback. As a result, Copenhagen Flames showed an equally interesting attack, with which they managed to get their first victory in the championship — 16:14.
