PGL Major Antwerp 2022 participant stickers added to CS:GO

On the night of May 4, the developers released a fresh update for CS:GO, in which they added stickers of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 participants. In addition, Valve paid attention to finalizing the Climb and Ember maps, thereby not forgetting about the main elements of the gameplay.

Anticipation for stickers has grown over the weeks following the conclusion of the RMR tournaments. Moreover, the community was interested in only one question: will Valve take an example from last year's PGL Major Stockholm 2021, adding only autographs and stickers of the championship playoff participants to the game.

However, after a long escalation on the official Twitter, the developers released autographed stickers for all 24 participating teams. In addition, Valve has added a new "shiny" sticker option.

Along with stickers and team capsules, the developers have released the PGL Major Antwerp Viewer Pass, which allows access to the Pick'em Challenge by providing two options available for purchase.

The Basic Pass offers access to the Pick'em Challenge, a championship commemorative coin, unlimited team sprays for the duration of the tournament, and access to souvenir packs, while interested parties can also purchase a pack containing the pass and three souvenir tokens to receive additional packs.

Spectator pass features:

  • Improved Tournament Coin.
  • Souvenir sets.
  • Pick'Em Challenge.
  • Unlimited team graffiti during the Major.
  • A tag in the Steam.tv chat throughout the Major.

As with previous Majors, half of the sticker and spectator pass proceeds will be donated to participating players and organizations.

Other changes

Climb map:

  • Fixed reduced buy zone on T-spawn.

Ember Map:

  • A geyser located at a construction site now pushes the player up with less force.
  • Fixed an issue with crates and geysers giving the player insanely high speed.
  • Fixed an issue where the final warm up inside the elevator would prevent the player from jumping.
  • Fixed many minor bugs.

Localization:

  • Updated localization files for Portuguese (Brazil), Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish (Latin America), Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
