Participants of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 from the second RMR tournament for Europe became known

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B has come to an end. At the tournament, which was held from April 21 to 24 in Bucharest, 16 teams from Europe and the CIS fought for a symbolic prize pool of $85,000, as well as eight tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Following the results of the competition, the teams Copenhagen Flames, Players (now Cloud9), NIP, ENCE, G2 Esports, Team Spirit, Bad News Eagles and Astralis made it to the Major, thereby guaranteeing themselves a trip to Belgium next month.

Already following the results of the first three rounds of the championship, Copenhagen Flames and Players qualified for PGL Major Antwerp 2022, having obtained three victories each and securing their participation in the Legends stage in advance. At the same time, Sangal Esports and Sprout left the RMR tournament, having failed to get a single victory.

According to the results of the fourth round, the teams NIP, ENCE and G2 Esports knocked out their tickets to the major. At the same time, Entropiq, ASG and Endpoint lost in their confrontations, depriving themselves of the opportunity to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

On the final day of the championship, the last tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022 went to Team Spirit, Bad News Eagles and Astralis. In addition, the Swedes from NIP outplayed ENCE, thanks to which they secured participation in the Legends stage. Well, Anonymo, SINNERS and HEET left the RMR tournament, taking places from 9th to 11th.

  • 5th place: G2 Esports — PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage.
  • 6th place: Astralis — PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage.
  • 7th place: Bad News Eagles - PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage.
  • 8th place: Team Spirit — PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Contenders Stage.
  • 9th-11th place: Anonymo, SINNERS and HEET.
