PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B First Round Schedule Revealed

Tournament operator PGL has presented the schedule of the first round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B. The championship will open with a match between G2 Esports and Anonymo, while Entropiq and Bad News Eagles will fight in a parallel match.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B will be held according to the Swiss system, in which all matches, except for the decisive ones, will be held in the BO1 format. At the same time, the meetings that decide the tournament fate of the teams will be held in the BO3 format. For the draw from the 3rd to 5th rounds, the Buchholz system, which has already been used at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and previous RMR tournaments, will be used.

Teams that take places from 1st to 3rd will receive Legend status. The teams ranked from the 4th to the 7th lines will receive the Challenger status. At the same time, the team that takes 8th place will receive the status of Contender. The remaining teams will miss PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

Recall that earlier PGL made changes to the format of the event. As a result of these changes, an additional match for 3rd place will be played, which will determine the fate of a ticket to the "Legends" of the Major.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B will take place from 21 to 24 April in Romania. Sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS will compete for a prize pool of $85,000, as well as eight tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
