First Qualification Details for IEM Dallas 2022 Revealed

Tournament operator ESL has revealed the first details of the IEM Dallas 2022 qualifiers. As part of the qualifying process, teams from Europe, Oceania, North America and Latin America will compete for six tickets to the main event.

The qualifying process for teams will begin with open qualifiers, from each of which (two in total will be played in each region) two best teams will advance to the closed stage (one in Oceania). In the closed qualifiers, the four selected teams will meet with four invited teams (respectively, in Oceania - two invited teams), with whom they will compete for the remaining places at IEM Dallas 2022.

The remaining places at IEM Dallas 2022 will be determined based on partner invitations and places in the ESL World Ranking.

  • First European Qualifier: April 11-12.
  • Second European Qualifier: April 13-14.
  • Closed qualification for Europe: May 2-4.
  • First North American Qualifier: April 17-18.
  • Second North American Qualifier: April 19-20.
  • Closed qualifier for North America: April 22-24.
  • First South American qualifier: April 18-19.
  • Second South American qualifier: April 20-21.
  • Closed qualifier for South America: April 23-24.
  • First open qualifier in Oceania: April 18-19.
  • Second Open Qualifier in Oceania: April 20-21.
  • Closed qualification for Oceania: April 23-24.

IEM Dallas 2022 will take place from May 31 to June 5 in the United States. Teams will compete for a $250,000 prize pool at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
