ESL One Rio 2020: closed qualifiers for Minor tournaments start today

Starting today and March 8, closed qualifications will be held for all four Minor tournaments. Closed selections will be held for the European and CIS Minors without division into subdivisions. The qualifying round for the American Minor Championship will be divided into North America and South America. At the Asia Minor Championship, representatives of the heel of the subregions will try to break through: China, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Asia and the countries of Oceania.

All four minor will be held from April 26 to May 2 in Rio de Janeiro. In each of them, two invitations to the ESL One Rio 2020 will be raffled and on a personal invite to the 3rd Place Play-In, where two additional invitations to the Major tournament will be raffled.

ESL One Rio 2020 will be held from May 11 to 24. The competition will be attended by 24 teams, which will compete with each other for a total prize pool of $ 1,000,000. The main cash prize will be $ 500,000.
