Remembering the fifth game day of WePlay Academy League Season 3

The fifth day of the WePlay Academy League Season 3 has come to an end - according to its results, NaVi Junior has become the leader of the group A standings, having won two victories. At the same time, BIG Academy won two victories over Astralis Talent, thereby gaining a foothold in the second line.

Confrontation between BIG Academy and Astralis Talent

The game day began with a confrontation between the BIG Academy and Astralis Talent teams. The first game began on the Vertigo map, where the players of the German team had the starting advantage. In the second half, the Danes managed to return to the game and impose a fight. However, at the very end, BIG Academy managed to show several successful rounds in order to get the first victory over the opponent - 16:13.

The second game also took place on the Vertigo map. This time, the Danish team already had the starting advantage, having managed to finish the half with a minimal advantage. However, after switching sides, BIG Academy showed too confident defense, thereby not giving up a single round to the opponent - 16: 8.

Confrontation between NAVI Junior and fnatic Rising

The final confrontation of the game day took place with the direct participation of NAVI Junior and Fnatic Rising. The first game took place on the Vertigo map, where NAVI Junior quickly proved to be a favorite. However, after the changeover, the European team made a comeback, and thus shifted the fate of the map to overtime. Here the teams could not determine the winner for a long time, until NAVI Junior managed to break the opponent and get a strong-willed victory - 25:23.

The second game took place again on the Vertigo map. This time, the starting advantage remained with Fnatic Rising, which received a minimal advantage before switching sides. In the second half, the teams continued to whip up intrigue until NAVI Junior pulled herself together and took another three points - 16:14.

WePlay Academy League Season 3 runs from January 3rd to February 13th. Ten teams compete for a prize pool of $ 100,000, of which $ 45,000 will go to the winner of the championship.
