The first game day of WePlay Academy League Season 3 has come to an end, which means that it's time to get acquainted with the intermediate results and meet the leader of Group A.

Confrontation between Young Ninjas and Astralis Talent

The first pair of matches was played by Young Ninjas and Astralis Talent. The teams decided not to reinvent the wheel, deciding to play two BO1s on the Vertigo map. In the first game, the Danes practically did not oppose anything to the opponent, and failed to reveal themselves in the attack. At the same time, Young Ninjas very confidently closed the half in defense, thereby gaining the first three points in the tournament - 16: 8.

The second game began again under the dictation of the Swedish team, which showed a fairly confident defense, gaining an advantage in the form of three rounds. After switching sides, the Young Ninjas continued to push their opponents forward. However, at some point Astralis Talent managed to turn the tide of the game, thereby bringing back the intrigue. And yet, at the end of the map, the Swedish youth turned out to be stronger, thereby breaking out into the leaders of their group - 16:14.

Confrontation between BIG Academy and NaVi Junior

In the second series, BIG Academy and NAVI Junior met with each other. In this case, the teams again decided not to tempt fate, having played two BO1s on the same map - Inferno. However, already in the first game, NAVI Junior showed a fantastic result, spreading the opponent across the server in order to get an unexpected victory with a score of 16: 4.

Nevertheless, in the second game, the German team quickly restored the status quo, correcting their mistakes, and at the same time gaining an advantage over NAVI Junior. As a result, BIG Academy very quickly took revenge on the opponent, and won the first points at WePlay Academy League Season 3 - 16: 5.
