The Red Bull Flick 2vs2 Helsinki Invitational 2021 has come to an end. At the championship, which took place from 20 to 21 November in the capital of Finland, 16 duos from all over the world competed for a prize pool of € 50,000. The winner of the Red Bull Flick 2vs2 Helsinki Invitational 2021 was Team Spirit, who beat the Puteli & blaze duo 2: 1 in the final.

The championship started with the group stage, held according to the Swiss system. Already at this stage, many well-known couples, represented by large organizations, dropped out of the fight for the trophy. As a result, the duos represented by teams FURIA, G2, OG, ENCE and BIG suffered three defeats each, leaving the championship.

At the same time, the duo of players Team Spirit left the group stage with the fourth result, losing only in one meeting. Already at the start of the playoffs, the players from the CIS dealt with the pairs Yamii & Zireael (3: 1) and drext & Frozzen (2: 1), thereby making their way to the final of the upper bracket. However, here sdy & magixx unexpectedly lost to Puteli & blaze (1: 2), falling to the bottom of the bracket.

However, Team Spirit players defeated raks0n & mati (2: 0) to take revenge on Puteli & blaze (2: 1) in the grand final and earn € 20,000. In turn, the runner-up duo received a prize of € 13,000.
