Sharks won DreamHack Open September 2021 South America

The DreamHack Open September 2021 South America championship has ended. At the tournament, which took place online from September 22 to 26, four Latin American teams competed for a prize pool of $ 30,000, ESL Pro Tour points, as well as one slot for the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 15 Conference.

The winner of DreamHack Open September 2021 South America was the Brazilian team Sharks, which in the grand final was stronger than 9z with a score of 3: 2.

The grand final began with a handicap from the Argentine-Uruguayan squad, who made their way to the decisive match from the upper bracket, beating Sharks in the semifinals. However, this advantage did not become fatal for the Brazilians, who immediately took their pick, leveling the score in the series. On Nuke, the situation changed, as 9z showed a solid defense, snatching a victory on its own choice. Nevertheless, the Brazilians showed a champion character in order to close the next two cards in their favor, and at the same time become the winner of the championship.

Now Sharks will perform at the ESL Pro League Season 15 Conference, which will be held online from November 23 to 28.
