ESEA #29 Global Challenge will take place in Dallas, the USA on December 7-9. The prize pool will amount $50,000 and Mavs Esports Training Facility will be a venue.
The participants of the tournament
Eight teams from various parts of the world will take part in the championship. The level of the majority of teams is Tier-3. Such teams as 3DMAX, Virtus.pro, Team Kinguin, Swole Patrol, cantwinalan, Team Singularity, Vireo.pro, and Grayhound Gaming will compete in the fight for a title of the champion of ESEA Season 29 Global Challenge and the main money prize.
The prize pool
The general prize pool will amount $50,000. Participants, which place 7th-8th and 5th-6th, will earn $3,000. Teams that make it to the playoffs and hold the 3rd-4th place will grab $5,000. Two participants, which advance to the grand final, will guarantee themselves a minimal prize in the sum of $10,000 and a team that wins the final match will earn the main money prize in the sum of $18,000.
The format
The championship will be hosted in a format that is familiar for everyone. Eight participants will be divided into two groups with four participants in each. There, they will play by the GSL system. The first matches and the matches between winners of the first matches will be carried out in a bo1 format. The rest of the matches will be run in a bo3 format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. The teams will play in a Single Elimination in the final stage and all matches will be hosted in a bo3 format.
