About the tournament

Holding format

The format of the tournament will be the same as at all season DreamHack. Eight participants of the group stage will be divided into two groups of four teams in each. There they will play by the GSL system and will choose two best teams out of each four and they will get to the playoff with a single-elimination bracket. At the Bo1 format only the first matches of the group stage will be held. All the other meetings will be held in the series up to two wins.

Division of the prize pool

Division of the money and the holding format will not be different from all DreamHack tournaments for $100,000. The 7-8 places will obtain $2,000 for each, while the teams that will take the 5-6 places of the tournament bracket — $3,000 each. Participants in the playoff who will not be able to make it to the grand final will get considerable prizes of $10,000. The silver finalist will get $20,000, while the championship will fill their pocket with $50,000.

Casting of the tournament

As for casting, here we can see both famous and accustomed casters and those who we couldn't see before at such big championships. We should not forget that this tournament is female so the fact that five out of seven casters are representatives of the female part of humanity is not surprising.

The main host is Sue ‘Smix’ Lee, and the matches will be analyzed by Christine ‘potter’ Chi and Melania ‘Gina’ Mylioti.

Everything that will be taking place on screen will be commented by such casters as Lauren ‘Pansy’ Scott, Harry ‘JustHarry’ Russell, Sudhen ‘Bleh’ Wahengbam and Gabriella ‘LeTigress’ Devia-Allen.
