The general information

The upcoming tournament by BLAST Pro Series will take place in the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, on December 14-15. The prize pool will amount $250,000 and Atlice Arena will be a venue.

The participants of the tournament

Participants of the event will be the same teams that were in the previous season of BLAST Pro Series 2018: Astralis, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Cloud9.

The format

The organizers use an unusual format of the tournament as usual. All participants will be put in one group where will play bo1 matches by a Round Robin system. The top two participants will advance to the grand final and will divide the major part of the prize pool in a bo3 match. The rest of participants will compete in BLAST Pro Standoffs.

At BLAST Pro Standoffs, the players will play duels on various maps. Each match will be hosted using one of the following weapons: M4A1/M4A1-S, Desert Eagle, AK47, CZ75, and AWP. The first player to score 7 kills will achieve victory. A team that scores the biggest number of kills on the outcome of all matches will become a winner of BLAST Pro Standoffs.

The money prize

The general money prize will amount $250,000 and its distribution will be as non-standard as the format of the tournament in general. $175,000 will be up for grabs in the grand final between two participants. The rest of the money will be distributed between four participants of BLAST Pro Standoffs. Teams, which hold the 6th, 5th, and 4th place at the tournament, will earn $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000, respectively. A team that shows the best result in duels and places 3rd will grab $25,000 + a bonus in the sum of $20,000.
