What do we know about the new Cable agent? Update on the next agent at VALORANT

Riot Games has been consistent in releasing updates to VALORANT. Episode 7 is just around the corner, with some exciting new features and changes in store for players at The International. We've already had a chance to talk about what's in store for players in the next installment of VALORANT, which you can find here.

Today we decided to prepare a collective material in which we will talk about all the rumors that exist on the next agent. As you can guess from the name, it's stunned Cable. Well, look for more details next.

When will there be an official announcement from the developers?

Riot Games is expected to officially unveil Cable on the final game day of VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Masters Tokyo. That is, this Sunday, June 25, the developers will announce the next agent and provide a little more information about his abilities, characteristics and class.

It should be noted that the announcement of many of the previous agents also took place during the finals of major LAN tournaments. For this reason, fans believe that the developers will not abandon the practice and please the players with fresh details about the new agent Cable.

What do we know about Cable?

Based on the name, the new agent ѕtunet Cable. Based on the available leaks and teasers, the new agent will be a trap master with the in-game role of Guardian. That said, many are speculating that Cable, as fun as it sounds, will largely use power cables and other tools.

We've also managed to see a published teaser showing Sova trying to track someone down amongst snow-covered mountains and glaciers. Perhaps this landscape serves as a hint of Agent Cable's country of origin.

While details of the agent's origins are scarce, the teaser image from Riot Games, showing a coffee cup and a heart-shaped waffle with brown cheese, hints at a possible Norwegian or Dutch origin.

Getting back to the conversation about VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Masters Tokyo, the championship participants have been shown a new agent. It's also been reported online that Cable will be female.

If we were to compile the rumors, Cable's abilities will include attractant traps and electric darts. There have also been some curious posts on the expanse of Twitter, which have contained some sort of mystery, possibly hinting at Agent Cable's appearance and "bear" powers.

When will the release of Agent Cable take place?

As we know, the release of the seventh episode of VALORANT will take place at the end of June. Probably already in the first act, the new agent will be introduced. In the next few days, surely more information will emerge about Cable's abilities and appearance. We'll just have to keep our finger on the pulse and follow all the news around the agent.
