Upcoming Valorant Patch 10.04: Agent Balance Changes and Release Date

Riot Games has announced the release of patch 10.04. We already know what changes await the agents and invite you to check them out. This article contains all the changes, buffs, and nerfs for Valorant agents.

Clove Adjustments

Meddle (Q)

• Explosion delay reduced from 1.3 seconds after activation to 0.75 seconds after impact with a surface.
• Updated sound effects to match the timing changes.

Ruse (E)

• Cooldown increased from 30 seconds to 40 seconds.

Pick-me-up (C)

• Healing duration increased from 8 seconds to 10 seconds.
• Bonus movement speed duration reduced from 8 seconds to 3 seconds.

Tejo Nerfs

Guided Salve (E)

• Damage reduced from 70 to 65.
• Now deals only 50% damage to objects.
• Can no longer destroy Killjoy’s Lockdown; after activation, Lockdown will retain 5 HP.

Deadlock Changes

Barrier Mash (C)

• Now classified as a special ability.
• Cost introduced: 400 credits (previously free).

Gravnet (E)

• Now a basic ability with a 40-second cooldown.
• Radius reduced from 16m to 14m.
• Updated sound effects for better clarity.
• Destroying the net now triggers a sound cue for all players.

Neon Visual Enhancements

Overdrive (X)

• Updated visual effects to enhance Neon’s visibility and improve clarity of her laser direction when using the ability.

Iso Adjustments

Undercut (Q)

• Charge count reduced from 2 to 1.
• Cost increased from 200 to 300.
• Now inflicts a suppression effect lasting as long as the debuff (4 seconds).

Contingency (C)

• Added an alternate mode where the wall moves at half speed without changing the ability duration.

Double Tap (E)

• When Iso’s shield breaks, he now receives the "High Penetration" tag instead of "Wall Penetration," making him more vulnerable after his shield is destroyed.

Kill Contract (X)

• Fixed a bug where Iso’s "Control Shot" effect did not activate properly during his ultimate. Now, a sphere will always spawn upon winning an arena fight.

Additional Changes and Potential Adjustments

While these are the primary updates expected in patch 10.04, Riot Games has not yet released the official patch notes. Additional tweaks may be included before the update goes live.

Valorant Patch 10.04 Release Date

The estimated release date for patch 10.04 is between March 4 and March 5, 2025. However, the exact time of availability may vary by region, with North American servers expected to receive the update earlier than European servers.
