Types of bookmaker bonuses and how to get them

The competition in the sports betting market is just huge. Every bookmaker tries to attract new customers in all possible ways. One of the best ways remains bonuses. Now it is difficult to find a bookmaker that would not offer gifts to its players. The bonuses are liked by the players and are the best marketing solution. Virtually every advertisement of a bookmaker mentions bonuses first. The types of bookmakers' bonuses and the possible pitfalls associated with them will be discussed later.

Types of bonuses

Every betting website tries to come up with its own unique promotion or offer. However, all BUK bonuses can be roughly divided into several types:

  • no deposit bonuses;
  • deposit bonuses;
  • freebets;
  • Loyalty programs;
  • accumulator bonuses;
  • refund of the rate;
  • special bonuses.

No deposit bonuses are one of the most common types of bonuses. They are usually offered to new players for registering on the site. A bonus often means a certain amount of money that is credited to the balance of a special bonus account. This amount must be wagered a certain number of times in order to be able to withdraw the bonus. Often bookmakers have a minimum factor requirement. Overall, the ratio is quite high - from 2 and above. The bonus amount usually needs to be wagered 2-5 times. The size of the bonus that can be withdrawn is a "pure profit" on the stake, which is a profit regardless of the amount wagered.

The deposit bonuses work on the same principle. Bookmakers can offer 50-200% for topping up your account. However, the conditions for trading in them are often more complicated. Some BUK may require you to trade bonuses with very high ratios.

Free bets (free bets) - the possibility to place bonus funds provided by the bookmaker. Often such bonuses are offered before major sporting events. In order to get a freebet, it is often required to enter a code and follow additional conditions, such as the existence of a deposit. Also often freebets are given to new players for registration. The rules of trading depend on the bookmaker company. In some they are very friendly, for example, put your funds to a factor below 2, and then you can withdraw the bonus immediately.

Loyalty programs can be called the most honest and transparent bonus. They usually do not require trading. The player is simply awarded points for the stakes he made before. Usually the bookmaker shows a clear pattern of exchanging points for money. After redeeming the points in the loyalty program, you can withdraw or spend on other bets.

Accumulator bonuses give the player a slightly increased coefficient. Bookmakers offer big odds for combi bets of 3 or more events. There may also be actions such as "Accumulation of the day", where the company gives a ready-made combination of popular events. Almost always, such promotions do not require the player to perform additional activities related to the wagering of the bonus.

Refund is a relatively new type of bonus. The bookmaker offers the player a refund of a certain amount of money for one losing bet. Usually, the terms and conditions clearly describe the rates and other details.

Special bonuses - various promotions and offers for customers. These include cash back for active players, birthday gifts, increase in betting limits, higher odds and more.

Traps of bookmakers' bonuses

The goal of all bonuses without exception - to increase the bookmaker's profit. Therefore, the last one tries in every possible way to cleverly invent and make the conditions for the bonus payment as complicated as possible. The first thing worth paying attention to - trading time. This is often forgotten or bookmakers provide this information in fine print, in the most invisible place. Each bonus has a wagering time. It could be a day or a week. If you don't make it in time, all bonuses will be forfeited.

Does an account top-up promotion require? Often times when a bookmaker offers a no deposit bonus it still requires a deposit. Without it, it will not be possible to withdraw the bonus to the card. Currently, this issue should be checked immediately on the support page.

These are not all possible problems with obtaining the bonus. Please read the terms and conditions of the promotion carefully before agreeing to it. Certainly, there are conscientious bookmakers on the market who give real bonuses. However, the tendency is that there are fewer and fewer of the latter.
