TI10: Team Spirit worthily represents the CIS region

An article dedicated to Team Spirit , which should adequately represent the CIS region at The International 10. Top-8 is expected from them, a lot of championships were held by "Spirits" in 2021.

Team Spirit results in 2021

  • 4th place in the first season of the first division DPC (CIS) - Online
  • 2nd place at EPIC League Season 3 - Online
  • 1st place at D2CL 2021 Season 1 - Online
  • 2nd place in the second season of the first division DPC (CIS) - Online
  • 1st Place Pinnacle Cup 2021 - Online

Team Spirit showed themselves very well in the season, won many tournaments, but the teams there were rather weak. At the top championships: ESL One Fall 2021 and WePlay AniMajor, they took 5-6 places and 7-8 places, respectively.

Team Spirit roster at The International 10

  • Yatoro (18 years old)
  • TORONTOTOKYO
  • Collapse (age 19)
  • Miroslaw (21 years old)
  • Miposhka (23 years old)

My main thought, which will be in all articles: The International is a tournament of a different scale, it cannot be compared with anything else. Any player will have their hands shaking when the prize pool is $ 40 million, and the value of one best of 3-series or card in the group stage reaches over a million dollars.

The results of Team Spirit players at The International tournaments, the QC club has never been represented at TI:

Yatoro

  • Never played The International

TORONTOTOKYO

  • Never played The International

Collapse

  • Never played The International

Miroslaw

  • Never played The International

Miposhka

  • 7th-8th place at The International 2017 with Team Empire

Miposhka is the only Team Spirit player to have played at The International at least once, the rest have never played at TI. Young players who declared themselves as a good team only in 2020.

I am sure that Team Spirit will play well in the group stage, but it will be quite difficult in the playoffs. They will definitely be below Virtus.pro, although many believe the opposite.

Mini Prediction: Team Spirit will not rise above the top 7-8 at The International 10
