The International 2025 Group and Elimination Stage have concluded, which means the main event is ahead, taking place on September 11-14. Valve has already added changes to the Compendium, and every player can make their predictions regarding teams and players. In this blog, we will talk about Playoffs Compendium Players Fantasy, how to play it, and which players will be the best picks.
What is TI 2025 Playoffs Compendium Fantasy

Fantasy is an annual in-game event that takes place together with the Compendium before and during The International. In it, you need to create your own team from professional players and enhance it with emblems, and for their successful The International 2025 performances and earned points, you will receive scores and, at the end of the event, be able to claim rewards.

How to play Playoffs Fantasy?

The playoffs rules are similar to the Road to The International Fantasy. You need to assemble your own team of 3 players: core, mid, and support. You must choose players whose teams advanced to the playoffs. To understand all the rules, we recommend reading the TI 2025 Compendium Fantasy Guide, where we explained in detail about Titles, War Banners, and emblems that should be selected for players.
The main difference in the playoffs fantasy is the presence of 5 emblems instead of 3. Core players receive an additional red and green emblem, while supports get a green and blue emblem. All predictions can be made before the start of the playoffs stage, which begins on September 11.
How to win in Playoffs Fantasy?
Due to the unpredictability of The International 2025, many players were unable to score a large number of points in the first stage of fantasy. To fix this situation in the playoffs, follow these rules:
- Choose a reliable player from a strong team for each position: the best picks are players who have performed consistently in all matches, not those who showed a one-time quality performance.
- Carefully select emblem stats: this means choosing characteristics that are most often achieved by players in a given position. For example, GPM for core, Creep Score for mid, and the number of wards placed for support.
- Use rerolls to improve emblems: you have 40 replacement tokens that you can use to change various emblem characteristics, use them to increase percentages and add the needed emblems.
- Think ahead: it is recommended to choose a player whose team is predicted to advance several rounds in the playoffs. This increases the chances of a successful player performance.
These tips will help you earn more points and increase your percentile, which will allow you to receive rewards.
The International 2025 Fantasy Points
To achieve the highest possible percentile, you need to collect as many fantasy points as possible. This is the sum of emblem points from the two best game maps in a series, multiplied by bonuses. A player can play any number of BO3 matches, but only one — the most successful one — will be counted. If the match consists of three maps, the map with the lowest number of points scored is not considered.
In-game actions that grant points:
- Kills: +121 per kill;
- Deaths: 1800 initially, –180 for each death;
- Creeps: +3 for each denied or last-hit creep;
- Gold per minute: points equal to GPM × 2;
- Emerald pickups: +19 per picked emerald;
- Towers: +340 per destroyed tower;
- Observer Wards placed: +113 each;
- Camp stacks: +170 per stack;
- Runes: +121 per activated or bottled rune;
- Observer takeovers: +121 per captured Observer;
- Lotus pickups: +213 per collected Lotus;
- Roshan kills: +850 for Roshan last-hit;
- Teamfights: points are granted for participation in teamfights, exact calculation unknown, maximum — 1895 per map;
- Stuns: +128 per second of applied stun (works on creeps, heroes, creep-heroes, neutrals, Tormentors, Roshan);
- Tormentor kills: +850 for Tormentor last-hit;
- Courier kills: +850 for courier last-hit;
- First Blood: +1700 for the first kill in the game;
- Smoke of Deceit use: +283 points per use.
If at the end of the period your result is better:
- 0–25% of participants — 60 points;
- 25–50% of participants — 600 points;
- 50–75% of participants — 2,400 points;
- 75–90% of participants — 4,200 points;
- 90–95% of participants — 8,400 points;
- 95–99% of participants — 10,200 points;
- 99–99.9% of participants — 11,400 points;
- 99.9–100% of participants — 12,000 points.
The more Compendium points you earn, the higher your position in the global ranking. Points are collected both for fantasy and for correct predictions, so we recommend reading Playoffs Team Predictions, where we reviewed the expected results of teams in the main event of The International 2025.
