They are probably not recognized very often on the street - unless you meet a passionate CounterStrike fan. Nevertheless, these gamers are serious players because they are the most successful CounterStrike players in the world. People who still underestimate the field of eSports in terms of its potential may not understand why it suddenly becomes relevant. But escene readers know that today's gamers are the stars of the future. The names on this list have already made it.

Top trio: dupreeh, Xyp9x and dev1ce
In true gamer fashion, three of the most successful candidates are best known by their pseudonyms. Only real connoisseurs know that behind these cryptic names are the Danes Peter Rasmussen, Andreas Hojsleth and Nicolai Reedtz. Her career is quite impressive - although her career only really got off the ground in 2016. They have won various titles and have won eSports championship leagues, but their success is mainly determined by their bank balance. At least two of the three have already earned a million from gaming and dupreeh, the third in the league, is not far from it.
Boss player from Brazil: FallN, fer and coldzera
From cold Denmark to hot Brazil, where talented gamers don't have a siesta either, and you can also play Wunderino casino for free, because this trio of players has been making a name for itself since 2015 and has already been passed on to several management teams. The highlight of their career: undoubtedly joining the Made-In-Brazil team, where they are supposed to represent their home country in terms of eSports. The hype surrounding these teams makes it clear above all that CS: Go has increased in relevance and that, for example, top-class sports bets can now also be concluded on the game. Whether you choose the Brazilians or the Danes - the cards are shuffled every time you play.
Skills or Wins?
It is not so easy to say which of the trios - or the players belonging to them - really towers over all the others. This is mainly due to the fact that you cannot agree whether you want to evaluate according to theoretical skills or demonstrated superiority. Many consider coldzera to be an exceptional talent - but Dev1ce has brought home more victories and raked in money, which of course should not be ignored. After all, eSport is also about making a living; and if that doesn't happen, then no matter how much talent you have, it won't help.

Germany is still lagging behind
If you are looking for the German flag in the list of top players and transfers, you have to scroll down quite a bit. Only in 73rd place do you meet Adil Benrlitom alias ScreaM, who has so far secured profits of $ 230,000. He is the only German in the entire Top 100, while Nordic countries and Brazil are represented in abundance. So do the Germans simply have no talent to become a CS: GO star? It is more likely that there are fewer funding programs in Germany and that no strong management teams have yet been established. One can only hope that eSports will receive more serious attention in the future, now that Mesut Özil has also founded his own eSports team. Unfortunately, Germany is still too weak to dethrone the strong Danes.
