Rainbow 6 Siege Y10S1 New Update - Operation Prep Phase

The new update in Rainbow Six brings us a brand-new operation, and to help us tackle it, a new Operator has arrived – Rauora from New Zealand. This Operator introduces new mechanics, fresh gameplay, and adds more tactical variety to the game.
Rauora’s key mechanic is the D.O.M. (Deployable Omnilink Mesh) Panel Launcher, a device that allows deploying a bulletproof barrier in doorways, significantly obstructing enemy movement. But that's not all—let’s take a closer look at the Y10S1 patch together!
Rauora New Rainbow 6 Siege Operator Info

The new Attacker Squad Operator takes on the support role with abilities focused on map control. New Rainbow 6 Siege Operator Rauora is a support. She is highly mobile and durable, with two health points and two speed points.
Rauora shines especially when paired with Thatcher, as they have previously worked together during joint SAS operations. This connection is highlighted in her biography, tying into both the game’s storyline and gameplay mechanics, making them a strong duo on the battlefield.
Rainbow 6 Siege Reputation System Changes
All players’ reputation will be reset as the system exits the beta testing phase. As a token of appreciation, those who finished Y9S4 with a good reputation status (Respectable, Esteemed, or Exemplary) will receive a free Alpha Pack.
With the launch of Year 10, Season 1, players with a Dishonorable or Disruptive status will face restrictions in playlist access and will be unable to unlock certain rewards. Players with an Esteemed or Exemplary reputation will receive an exclusive operator card background. Bonus reputation points will be granted to players with a Respectable status or higher—these points can be exchanged for various rewards, including boosters, Renown, and Alpha Packs.
Reputation Status Impact:
- DISHONORABLE: Locked out of Ranked, Standard, and Siege Cup playlists, no Ranked rewards, -50% XP & Renown.
- DISRUPTIVE: Locked out of the Siege Cup playlist, no Ranked rewards, -25% XP & Renown.
- RESPECTABLE: +1 reputation point per match.
- ESTEEMED: +2 reputation points per match + exclusive Esteemed card background.
- EXEMPLARY: +3 reputation points per match + exclusive Exemplary card background.
Ranked rewards remain locked until the player reaches Respectable status.
Rainbow 6 Siege New Dynamic Matchmaking
A highly relevant update that will definitely have a positive impact on the overall game experience.
Dynamic Matchmaking is a new system that adjusts matchmaking based on server load. It adapts to both highly active regions and less populated areas, ensuring consistent match quality. During peak hours, the system focuses on creating the most balanced games possible, providing a fair and comfortable experience that aligns with player skill levels.
Rainbow 6 Siege Celebration Pack

The new Celebration Pack brings excitement with a selection of the best items from nine years of Siege, including rare event collections and seasonal exclusive weapon skins. You can obtain it through the Battle Pass or unlock it with Renown.
New Rainbow 6 Siege Seasonal Weapon Skins
And of course, what’s a new season without a fresh batch of skins? This season, players will have the chance to obtain the Embers weapon and attachment skin, the Core Strength charm, and the Tectonic Reveal operator card background. These are seasonal skins, meaning they will be available from the season launch and can be purchased throughout the entire season. Once unlocked, the skin will remain in your inventory permanently and can be applied to all available weapons.
The Long-Awaited Operator Price Reduction
Great news, especially for new players and those who haven’t been playing for long!
The operator price reduction in Operation Prep Phase will bring more variety to gameplay and help keep players engaged. Here’s the list of operators with lowered prices:
- Azami is now 10,000 Renown or 240 R6 Credits.
- Brava is now 15,000 Renown or 360 R6 Credits.
- Deimos is now 20,000 Renown or 480 R6 Credits.
If you haven’t had the chance to try these operators yet, now is the perfect time!
