In September 2025, Counter-Strike 2 received one of its most anticipated updates — the Genesis collection, which introduced a new container called the Genesis Uplink Terminal (also known as the Sealed Genesis Terminal). How to get Skin from Genesis Terminal?
The Genesis Uplink Terminal, also known as the Sealed Genesis Terminal, is a new container introduced with the Genesis update in Counter-Strike 2. It features the “Genesis” collection, which includes 17 community-created skins, and differs from traditional cases by using a unique unlocking mechanic. Players can obtain the terminal either through the Weekly Drop system by actively playing or by purchasing it from other users on the Steam Marketplace. Once acquired, the terminal must be unsealed in the inventory, triggering the appearance of the “Arms Dealer,” who offers up to five different skin deals from the Genesis collection. Each deal comes with a set price, and players can choose to buy or decline the offer to see the next one; however, if all five offers are declined, the terminal expires and no skin is awarded.
