What to Expect from Marathon
Marathon, much like Arc Raiders, shares a similar genre and core concept, as both are PvPvE extraction shooters. The foundation lies in high-risk raids, confrontations with other players, and the constant tension of trying to extract safely with valuable loot—making every match intense and unpredictable.
Arc Raiders has already captured the attention of a large player base and proven successful within the genre. Marathon, backed by Bungie’s experience and reputation, carries equally high expectations. Whether it can reach the same level of success will become clear after its official release on March 5, 2026.
