LEC Summer 2025 Week 4 Schedule and Week 3 - Results

The Group Stage of LEC Summer 2025 is nearing its end. After three weeks of competition, a few teams have already been ruled out of Playoffs contention. Ten of Europe’s strongest teams are still battling for the regional title. Week 3 has wrapped up, delivering some thrilling matchups and a handful of surprising results. With the level of competition this high, teams are giving it their all to perform at their peak. Let’s take a look at what Week 4 has in store — and quickly revisit the key storylines from Week 3.
Week Four: LEC Summer 2025 Schedule

The final fourth week of the Group Stage will take place from August 25 to 26 and will feature a total of 4 matches:
Date | Match |
August 25 | SK Gaming vs G2 Esports |
August 25 | Team BDS vs Team Heretics |
August 26 | Team Vitality vs MKOI |
August 26 | Natus Vincere vs GIANTX |
Only four matches remain before the Group Stage of LEC Summer 2025 comes to an end. This stage has been running from August 2 to 26 and follows a Single Round Robin format. All teams are split into two groups of five, with each team playing one match against every other team in their group — for a total of four games. Every match is played as a best-of-three (Bo3) using the Fearless Draft system. The top eight teams — four from each group — will advance to the Playoffs: teams placing 1st and 2nd will enter the Upper Bracket, while those finishing 3rd and 4th will begin in the Lower Bracket.
To make the tournament format easier to follow, we’ve put together a dedicated blog — the LEC Summer 2025 Season Viewer Guide. There, I go over each stage of the competition, explain the match formats, introduce the participating teams, and cover other important details of the Summer Split.
Matches You Shouldn't Miss
The final matches of the Group Stage are here — and for some teams, this is their last chance to secure a spot in the Playoffs. For others, it’s an opportunity to improve their seeding and start the knockout stage from a stronger position.
While every game this week promises excitement, one of the most intriguing matchups will be Team Vitality vs MKOI. Last week, Vitality surprised everyone with their performance, and now they have a real shot at reaching the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs. Despite MKOI being one of the tournament favorites, Team Vitality have stepped up and silenced the critics — which makes this clash one to watch closely.
Another match worth following is Natus Vincere vs GIANTX. From a playoff perspective, this match has no impact — even with a win, NaVi are out of contention, currently sitting at 0–3 in series and 0–6 in games. But the real intrigue lies in whether NaVi can finally show some of their potential — or if their appearance this split is simply a rebranding of Rogue at the bottom of the standings.
It’s still too early to pass judgment — after all, this is essentially a brand-new roster that had barely a month to prepare for a Tier-S level event. That’s hardly enough time to expect results. Hopefully, Natus Vincere will use the upcoming break between splits to regroup and come back stronger in the Winter Split with a whole new look.
LEC Summer 2025 Week 3 Results

Week 3 of LEC Summer 2025 brought plenty of surprises and excitement. Let’s start with Group A — and without a doubt, the biggest and most pleasant surprise of the week was Team Vitality’s performance. Coming into the week, most analysts doubted their potential, predicting either a last-place finish or, at best, a single win. But Vitality defied all expectations.
Their first match was against Natus Vincere — a team many favored to win. However, Team Vitality dismantled NaVi with a clean 2–0, effectively ending their chances of reaching the playoffs.
Some may argue that NaVi’s loss was due to their lack of synergy, being a newly formed roster. But Vitality’s next match — against none other than Karmine Corp — was an entirely different story. KC, the Winter Split champions, were the clear favorites. After dominating the first game in just 25 minutes with a brutal 21–1 scoreline, it looked like another routine win for KC.
But then came Game 2 — and we saw a completely different Vitality. Every player stepped up. Fleshy, the team’s rookie support, delivered a near-flawless performance on Alistar (0/1/15), showing deep champion knowledge. Lyncas on Jarvan IV and Czajek on Ryze tore through the map, controlling every lane and objective. Vitality secured the second game with confidence.
Game 3 was more closely contested, at least on the surface. But Vitality’s ADC, Carzzy, looked entirely unbothered — finishing with a dominant 12/2/3 score on Xayah. Special mention also goes to the unexpected Pyke pick by Fleshy — a bold and rarely seen choice in pro play, especially when paired with Xayah. And it worked brilliantly. It’ll be interesting to see whether Pyke becomes a recurring pick or if this was a one-time surprise.
G2 Esports also delivered an excellent performance this week. While questions lingered around their recent form after roster changes, they made a clear statement in Week 3. Their highly anticipated match against Fnatic — a team known for dominating group stages — ended with a confident 2–0 for G2. They followed it up with another clean 2–0 win against Team BDS, showing consistency and control. As a result, G2 Esports now sit at the top of the standings.
