Perfect heroes to boost MMR in Dota 2
Yuriy SheremetThe developers of Dota 2 have updated the game one more time. Now, it has become a bit more difficult to make victorious bets by predicting the results of particular matches. However, there is a nice opportunity to make extra MMR points. The main thing is to use the heroes, about which we will tell you further in this article, to boost.
Alchemist
Alchemist’s few basic abilities have become less effective but this circumstance has not made an impact on the hero’s general power. It is pretty understandable because a minimal loss of the attack speed and damage (5 points) will not feel in the game if the hero is controlled right. It is just enough to watch what the real professionals do with Alchemist who perform at large international arenas. You should use the best players’ ideas to achieve certain success in Dota 2. Regarding Alchemist, it should be built using Radiance, Manta Style, and Octarine Core because the efficiency of these items has left on the same level, even after the update.
Leshrac
Many experts who focus only on the winrate (43% at the moment) do not recommend using this hero. It looks like this opinion has the right to live, considering the recent statistics but it is wrong. The thing is that Leshrac is still a pretty flexible hero with big damage, which lacks a bit of survival. However, this disadvantage can be compensated if you use the right build. Initially, it is not worth buying such items as Kaya, Bloodstone, Eul's Scepter of Divinity, or Aghanim's Scepter. The best option is to buy BKB as soon as you have money. This item will help Leshrac to absorb damage in fights longer and it does not need something else to win. What is more, unlike many other heroes, Leshrac can steadily become stronger (from level to level), so it is not worth avoiding it.

Dragon Knight
A minor loss of regeneration is unlikely to influence the hero’s power negatively. DK still can kill any enemy alone, so it can be picked when it is possible during a draft stage. This hero (when using the right build) feels nice not just at a hard lane but an easy one too. Consequently, you can realize many tactical ideas, playing as DK. However, to make your game easier, you should initially improve the hero’s first skill, which aims at the damage. If you do so, you will have an opportunity to kill lots of creeps at initial levels or to destroy the central tower. Everything is simple and effective.
Bristleback
It is not clear why the developers of Dota 2 have decided to ignore Bristleback, despite the other heroes’ abilities have been seriously changed. This hero’s talents have left effective like they had been before and many of them do not require financial resources from a player. Moreover, Bristleback is boosted pretty easily: it is enough to buy sticks, boots, and Vanguard. These items are enough to move on the map and kill enemies on entry levels, waiting for the appearance of other talents.
Treant Protector
The basic abilities allow this hero to hold a leading position but it is better used as a support. Such a decision will surprize opponents for sure, so it is always worth using Treant’s flexibility. Even if enemies start pushing the lane, you will have a chance to hide by using the invisibility or to go to the other part of the map to help your teammate. Generally, Treant can be useful even if it does not have a lot of resources. It can provide important information about the location of opponents or heal towers if they have not been fully destroyed.
