How to earn money by playing online games: CS: GO, Fortnite, casino slots, etc.
Bogdan LashchenkoOut of all the online game categories, CSGO and Fortnite are the most advanced online multiplayer games where players interact with each other both in terms of gameplay (exchanging game resources or items) and communication (chats). In them, the player has his character that he has to develop by completing tasks, buying clothes, weapons and other items.
Another popular category of online games is the online casino. They already assume that the player will deposit or withdraw virtual money, with the possibility of conversion to electronic payment systems, therefore each account is linked to the player's account. The best online casino sites have a large list of gambling games - slots, roulette, blackjack and poker.
Types of income in online games
Amateur tournaments - The number of different platforms on which players from different disciplines can play tournaments with cash prizes is huge. FaceIt, ESEA, ChallengerMode, affix, Epulze, ESL Gaming, Pvp.pro and the list goes on and on.
Tournaments are played in all formats, from 1vs1 to 5vs5. The best thing for amateurs and fans is that professional teams do not take part in these tournaments.
It just doesn't make sense for them to play $ 50 or $ 100 tournaments, but for regular players who sit down to play and earn money on a Friday night, it's okay.
Bets on esports matches. This requires knowledge and a working strategy. And although earning money on betting looks very questionable, using trusted CS:GO betting sites can generate income with a competent approach.
Trade - at this point, we introduce both the exchange of clothes and long-term investments. In the case of skins, the matter is simple - you buy an item and then try to sell it or exchange it for a more expensive one.
The difference between buying and selling is your profit. You buy for PLN 250, sell for PLN 350 and earn PLN 100.
Or you can buy capsules, cards or boxes and then sell them for a year or two for a profit. True, this method takes time, but the result will always be positive.
Selling accounts is also a fairly popular way to earn money in the gaming industry. You can easily register as many accounts as you want with Steam, for example.
Spend some time pumping, buy a few games, and then sell it for a profit to a user who doesn't want to spend that much time.
Always remember that when reselling your accounts anything can happen and you can suffer.
Streaming, imagine you are a student or employee who comes home in the evening and spends time playing a game. There is a way to earn money just by playing CS: GO/Fortnite or any other game. Of course, I'm talking about streaming.
There are currently around a dozen streaming platforms, but the largest are Twitch and Youtube. You can just stream your game and get paid for it. For example, Twitch offers an Affiliate Program with which you can earn money as well as paid subscriptions.
Viewers can simply donate to their favorite streamer directly through various e-wallets. Over time, as your audience grows, you may receive offers from advertisers or become a streamer for your organization.
The extreme case of streaming, such as pirating, is prohibited. This is primarily about broadcasting matches in cybernetic sports tournaments without rights. While the public generally condemns this method, the fact remains that many commentators have built their careers on the basis of piracy.
Account boost is also a socially condemned and forbidden method of earning money. As with the tournament and coaching platforms, there are also sites where you can place and accept a boost order.
The prices of booster accounts on the Faceit website currently range from PLN 30 to PLN 100. This is a good way to earn money and have fun playing CS: GO in your spare time.
The above methods have been tested by many players from around the world and from various gaming disciplines.
If you're a fan who doesn't want to or can't devote all of your time to an esports career, one of these approaches will surely work for you.
Earning money in an online casino
A few years ago my gambling interests moved to the internet and of course I couldn't pass by online casinos. At the outset, I'd like to point out that I've never been to a real casino before (I only imagined it based on Ocean's Eleven and James Bond movies) and never played slots. However, the situation has not changed since then.
Just like their real-life counterparts, online casinos are widespread, tempting with flashy advertising and promising fabulous winnings. These days, the web is simply flooded with various sites offering to play for real money. The scheme is simple: a visitor registers on the site, adds games to their account, and plays familiar games. The vast majority of such sites on the web offer several different ways to replenish the player's account: through one of the electronic money systems (Visa, Mastercard, Przelew 24, Blik, etc.), bank transfer to the account of the account owner and almost never accept cash. The exception are real casinos, for which the website is not the main, but rather image, additional platform for running a business.
The advantages of real money gambling machines compared to visiting a real casino are that:
- There is no need to leave your home, ie you can play in a familiar home environment;
- Speed of all gambling transactions: The person sitting in front of the monitor is the only customer that the casino serves visually. Of course, there are actually other users on this page who are playing the same game at the same time. But unlike a real virtual casino, none of them disturb or delay your game.
Such simplicity can entice even a person who doesn't feel like visiting the casino and playing slots in real life. You earn money in the same way as in a real casino: by using the rules and features of each game.
My goal was to get a small, stable income by playing only classic roulette.
Just in case, let me remind you that in order to competently play roulette, you need to remember the theory of probability, which is usually studied at the university. Without going into details yet, I would say that the theory of probability is on the player's side, unless there is a bet limit. Therefore, the casino always has a minimum and maximum bet amount. It is important to us how many times this maximum exceeds the minimum, as this will be our operating space.
The simplest roulette winning strategy is to bet on one of the equal probability events ("red"/"black", "even"/"odd" and "1-18"/"19-36"), starting with the minimum stake. If you lose, we double the stake and re-bet on the same event until it happens. In the event of a win, we reduce the stake to the minimum and choose again which event we will play. The net profit on one winning iteration is equal to the size of the initial bet (in my case, the size of the minimum bet).
The strategy is based on the fact that the probability of a series of independent events is equal to the product of the probabilities of each of these events.
Example: Calculate the probability of winning when you bet on an equal probability event, e.g. red.
Solution
Suppose the probability of hitting the red field of roulette is 0.5 (50%). Thus, in the first iteration, the probability of winning is 50%. If we lose, the probability increases in the second iteration and amounts to 75% (1 - 0.5 ^ 2 = 0.75). In this case, 0.5 ^ 2 is the probability of getting black 2 times in a row. We are interested in any situation other than this, so we subtract the probability of the negative outcome from the maximum probability. In the third iteration, the probability of winning is 87.5% (1 - 0.5 ^ 3 = 0.875) and so on.
At first glance, everything is simple, but in fact you should remember about the maximum limit of the bet amount. If it is achieved and you still lose, the loss will be several orders of magnitude greater than the profit. With that in mind, two questions must be answered:
Is the difference between the maximum and minimum bet amounts sufficient to implement this strategy? The greater the difference, the greater the chances of outbidding the casino's offer.
How much money must be in the account to successfully cover the operational costs of each iteration of the plant? For example, if your minimum bid is $ 1 and your maximum bid is $ 500, our operating space allows you to increase your bid 8 times, and the maximum bid is $ 256 (2 ^ 8 x $ 1). It follows that a minimum of PLN 511 should remain on your account (1 + 2 + 4 +... + 256). (Calculated according to the formula for the sum of the members of a geometric sequence from school algebra).
My earnings
For half an hour of playing on this system, I was getting a profit of about 2 WMZ. If you multiply this by 160 hours a month, 640 WMZ will come out, and taking into account the losses in withdrawing cash, you can count on 600 PE a month.
I am sincerely happy about the lucky ones who win large sums in casinos, but I do not see a way to ensure the stability of this type of earnings, because here the processes taking place in the games are constantly influenced by external factors. Therefore, I consider online casinos simply to be one of the many paid entertainment options, not a way to earn anything.
