In the first phase banners of Genshin Impact 5.4, a new 5-star Anemo character, Mizuki, will make his debut, wielding a Catalyst. He will be the featured character in the Dawn's Drifting Reverie banner.
Additionally, during this phase, the 5-star Hydro bow user Sigewinne will return, featured in the Romaritime Meluserenity banner.

It is worth noting that Mizuki will be added to the standard banner Wanderlust Invocation with the release of Version 5.5 Genshin Impact.
As usual, the first phase banners of Version 5.4 will run simultaneously. They will start on Wednesday, February 12, and are expected to end on Tuesday, March 4.
The next Genshin banner in Version 5.4 will feature:
- The returning 5-star Hydro character Furina is an incredibly strong unit that fits into almost any team—highly recommended not to miss her pull! She will be featured in the Chanson of Many Waters banner.
- Additionally, due to popular demand, the 5-star Cryo character Wriothesley, who wields a Catalyst, will also return. He is an excellent DPS for Cryo teams and pairs well with Furina. He will be featured in the Tempestuous Destiny banner.
The second phase banners are expected to run from March 4 (Tuesday) to March 25 (Tuesday)—one day before the anticipated release of Version 5.5.
Here are all the new and returning 5-star characters available in the Version 5.4 banners:
- Mizuki (Dawn's Drifting Reverie — Phase 1): A new 5-star Anemo character wielding a Catalyst.
- Sigewinne (Romaritime Meluserenity — Phase 1): A returning 5-star Hydro character using a Bow. An excellent support with incredibly strong healing abilities. If you don’t have a good healer, we highly recommend trying to pull for her.
- Furina (Chanson of Many Waters — Phase 2): A returning 5-star Hydro character wielding a Sword. As the Fontaine Archon, she remains one of the most popular characters among players. It’s no surprise—her impact on your team is absolutely worth spending your precious pulls on.
- Wriothesley (Tempestuous Destiny — Phase 2): A returning 5-star Cryo character using a Catalyst. He will appear again in the second phase of banners, giving players another chance to add this charismatic Fontaine fighter to their collection.
All of these characters are very strong and hold a high position in the Tier List for Version 5.3, which will soon be updated for Version 5.4. Since Mizuki is a 5-star character, she is unlikely to drop below A-tier, but the real question is whether she will surpass the existing characters in a similar role.

Additionally, in the first phase of the 5.4 weapon banner, a new 5-star weapon, Sunny Morning Sleep-In (Catalyst), will be introduced. This weapon is Mizuki’s signature weapon.
