Dota x Monster Hunter Collaboration Overview

On November 11, 2025, Dota 2 received an unexpected update featuring a collaboration with Monster Hunter. In this event, players can collect materials and craft cosmetic items and hero sets. Since it’s a collaboration with Monster Hunter, most of the items will be designed in the style of that game. In this blog, we will cover everything important about this update, including the rewards and how to obtain them.
Dota x Monster Hunter Event Rewards

The new Dota 2 update introduced many rewards, including six hero sets. Here’s the full list of rewards you can obtain:
- Sniper — Odogaron Armor
- Techies — Palico Bomb Unit
- Anti-Mage — Kirin Armor
- Dragon Knight — Rathalos Armor
- Beastmaster — Bone Armor
- Windranger — Zinogre Armor
- Courier — Palico
- Pet — Poogie
Hero sets can be obtained for free, but to get the Poogie companion, you’ll need the Expedition Pack, which costs $15.
How to Obtain Materials and Craft Items
To craft items, you need to collect different types of materials that can be obtained in the following ways:
- For winning a match
- For completing a contract
- For interrupting an enemy contract
- For opening cards in the hero atlas

It’s worth noting that to fill a hero card, you only need to win one match with that hero. As for materials, they come in four rarities: common, uncommon, rare, and super rare. Once you have gathered the required amount of materials for a particular item, you simply need to press the craft button.
What Else Is Interesting in the Dota x Monster Hunter Event
In addition to crafting items, you also need to increase your Hunter Rank, and by reaching certain levels, you’ll receive sprays and materials. To gain experience and level up your rank, you need to win matches.
Special attention should be given to the Palico courier, which can be obtained immediately. This courier has six styles, each unique and with its own name.
As for the Expedition Pack, here are the rewards you’ll receive when purchasing it.

Final Thoughts
The Dota x Monster Hunter collaboration has definitely come as a surprise for fans of both games. This event will run until February 6, giving players the opportunity to earn exciting rewards and enhance their gameplay experience. The Dota 2 and Monster Hunter collaboration is more than just a cosmetic addition—it’s a full-scale event that makes the game even more engaging.
