Doombringer Bundle Details – All Skins List, Price, Release Date, In-Game Look

As part of the Episode 9 Act 3 update , Valorant introduced a new skin bundle — the Doombringer Bundle. This set has received mixed reactions from players; some consider it decent, while others criticize the skin design and feel the name "Doombringer" doesn’t quite match its relatively light appearance. In this article, we’ll cover all the details about the bundle, including its skin lineup, price, release date, and in-game visuals.

What’s Included in the Doombringer Bundle?

The Doombringer Bundle consists of five weapon skins, including one melee weapon. Here’s a closer look at each:

  • Doombringer Sheriff — A skin for the Sheriff pistol with a detailed reload animation, giving it a unique style.
  • Doombringer Judge — A skin for the Judge shotgun with a heavy, brutal look. The inspection animation adds a sense of weight to the weapon.
  • Doombringer Odin — A skin for the Odin machine gun with a deep firing sound and high detail.
  • Doombringer Phantom — A Phantom skin that many players initially mistook for a Vandal due to its bulkiness.
  • Doombringer Axe — A unique two-handed melee weapon with new animations. It’s unlikely to become a favorite among players, as most prefer smaller knives over larger weapons that visually slow the character down.

Color Variants for the Doombringer Bundle

Each skin in the Doombringer Bundle comes in four primary color variants:

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Orange

These colors let players pick a variant to suit their favorite agent. For instance, green pairs well with Viper, blue complements Sova, and red and orange fit seamlessly with Brimstone or Breach.

Doombringer Bundle Price

The price of the Doombringer Bundle was officially announced, with Riot Games setting the full bundle at 8,700 VP, individual skins at 2,175 VP, and the two-handed weapon priced at a hefty 4,350 VP.

Doombringer Bundle Release Date

The Doombringer Bundle became available in Valorant one day after the launch of Episode 9 Act 3, which began on October 24, 2024. As of this article, players can purchase it directly from the main store page in Valorant.

In-Game Appearance and Animations of the Doombringer Bundle

The Doombringer Bundle introduces new animations for the Sheriff and entirely new animations for the two-handed melee weapon. However, Riot Games didn’t add unique and interesting reload animations for the other skins. Only the weapon inspection shows new animations, but in 2024, it doesn’t seem convincing enough to justify the price. As for new sounds, it’s a mixed bag, so it’s best to listen to them yourself and form your own opinion.

In our opinion and that of most Valorant players, the Doombringer Bundle isn’t Riot Games’ best work. This bundle can be skipped without much regret, allowing you to save your Valorant Points for future collections. None of the included skins are likely to rank among the top in Valorant. However, if you’re missing a stylish Sheriff, this one is worth considering due to its well-crafted animations, offering a fresh alternative to the Kuronami or Neo Frontier. Also, fans of large melee weapons might enjoy the two-handed axe with its intriguing new animations, making it a worthy addition to your collection. Overall, we’d rate this collection a 5 out of 10.
