Arc Raiders: Stella Montis Keys Guide

On the Stella Montis map in ARC Raiders, the environment shifts from the open, crumbling ruins of previous maps to a dense, indoor-industrial complex filled with shadowy tunnels, high-tech workshops, and hidden corridors. Players who explore carefully can discover supply rooms, terminals, and secret areas containing rare schematics, higher-tier loot, and challenging scenarios for extraction. Notably, the map features three doors that can only be unlocked using previously found keys, making strategic key management essential for maximizing rewards. Familiarity with key points of interest (POIs) such as the Assembly Workshops, Seed Vault, and Medical Research — each with unique loot types and risk levels — is crucial for planning safe routes and profitable runs within the tight indoor spaces
Where to look for keys and how to obtain them
Some keys can also be found outside the main Dam Battlegrounds map. For example, they can be found in houses in Blue Gate, appearing in loot containers such as lockers, bags, and crates. They follow similar spawn mechanics to other keys, meaning they can appear in residential buildings, administrative areas, and occasionally in restricted zones guarded by enemies. Checking every possible container thoroughly and revisiting high-traffic areas increases the chances of finding these keys, as they often respawn over time.
Stella Montis Assembly Admin Key
The door that the Stella Montis Assembly Admin Key opens is located in the northwest part of the Stella Montis map, in the area known as the Assembly, or assembly line. To reach it, you need to go to the top side of the map near the conveyor line and the ramp leading downward. From there, head through the central corridor, around a corner, and you will find the locked door. The key is consumed upon use, so it only opens the door once. There is also an alternative entrance from above, but only the door you unlock with the key will remain open for others.

Here’s what the door itself looks like:

Stella Montis Archives Key
The Stella Montis Archives key is used on a large door located at the end of the tunnels in the Seat Vault area on Stella Montis. To reach it, you need to follow the tunnel path, climb a few pipes, and move past a shredder. The door itself is positioned at the far end, serving as the point where the key can be applied once obtained.

Here’s what the door itself looks like:

Stella Montis Security Checkpoint Key
The Stella Montis Security Checkpoint key is used on the first door on your right inside the security checkpoint room in the Operator map. To reach it, start from the lobby, pass the main checkpoint, turn right into a small room behind the security reception, continue to the end, then turn left and right again. The key is applied to the door at this location once obtained.

How to Use Keys Effectively in Stella Montis
To maximize the value of your Stella Montis keys, always keep them in your safe pocket to prevent loss upon death, as these keys are rare and typically single-use. Search for them primarily in residential areas across different maps, where player reports indicate reliable drops. For more targeted strategies, you can consult the Spaceport Keys Guide, Blue Gate Keys Guide, Dam Battlegrounds Keys Guide, and Buried City Guide to learn the best locations and routes for each type of key. Once you obtain a key, plan your path carefully — doors like those in Assembly or Archives are tied to specific rooms within the Stella Montis map. Upon reaching the correct door, use the key (which will be consumed) and loot strategically, since these rooms often contain high-value items. Given the scarcity of keys, avoid using them recklessly; reserve them for runs where your team can safely extract. Remember that only the door you unlock remains accessible — all other doors stay locked for other players.
