All about ranks in CS:GO: How does CS:GO ranking system work?
Maksym ShylovRanks in Counter-Strike : Global Offensive is a parameter that determines a level of gaming skills: tactical skills, team play, perseverance, high shooting skills, the knowledge of grenade throws, and a wide map pool, and incredible stress management, which will help to deal with tilt - the game is fully drenched in it. There are 18 ranks divided into various groups.
What is the CS:GO rank calibration in CS:GO?
Before you had to win ten rating matches after installing Counter-Strike to receive a CS:GO rank but there is no such opportunity now. You have to achieve the third rank of your account to start the calibration (you can do this in regular competitive matches or deathmatches). Also, you have to activate «the Prime status», you can read about it and how to do it in our material: «What is the СS:GO Prime Status and How to Get it?». After that our calibration can start.
The basic thing during the calibration is the KDA ratio (the ratio of kills/deaths/assists). If you lose but have a positive KDA - you will be in profit.
There is a limitation in the calibration - two victories per day are your maximum, the calibration stops after two victories. After the end of ten calibration matches, you will receive one of eighteen ranks. Once you achieve a rank, the process of promotion or demotion begins (depending on the result of a particular match). It happens after the end of the match, considering your statistics during the match. The system will promote or demote your rank after playing a few matches. If you have been out of the game for a long time, your rank is reset at the end of the month, you can return it by winning or making a draw in one match. Your nearest CS:GO rank will probably be returned but it can be different from your last rank.
