Forecast FaZe Clan - Evil Geniuses
We continue to review the Valorant Champions Tour 2022 Last Chance in North America. Today we will talk about a couple of notorious teams: FaZe Clan and Evil Geniuses. They will face each other in the quarterfinals of the upper bracket. The match will take place on August 5 in bo3 format.
FaZe Clan form
Refresh the memory of the team. Since the beginning of 2022, the team has played mainly at small local tournaments: YFP Winter Classic - 3-4th place, Knights Gauntlet Circuit Monthly - 3-4th place, Proving Grounds $20k - 1st place.
They did not succeed with Tier 1 events: having missed the qualifications for the first and second Masters, and the tournaments themselves, the players cannot qualify for the World Championship. At the moment, “Phazes” occupy the 4th position in the overall rating with 75 points.
Let me remind you that last year the team was not able to take part in the championship, finishing the Valorant Champions Tour 2021 Last Chance in 7-8th place.
FaZe Clan roster
- babybay
- dicey
- flyuh

- poised
Since March of this year, the roster has undergone some changes. LarryBanks and POACH sat on the bench, instead the organization invited: supamen and poised as players, and zecK as an assistant coach. In addition, Mas took over as an analyst, and Shanks, a former member of Rise, became a team streamer.

Evil Geniuses form
The next member of the pair, the situation is no better. The only achievement for 2022 is the second place in the local NSG: Summer Championship. Considering that the team was formed in 2021, and since the beginning of its creation it has been playing mainly in class C tournaments, it becomes clear that the team is too early for the World Cup.
Unlike their rivals, Genii took part in the past NA Challengers Stage 1 and 2 qualifiers, but unfortunately for the players, 5th-6th and 11th-12th places did not bring the team the opportunity to play at Masters Copenhagen and Reykjavik.
