Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, Acend, Guild Esports and Team Liquid advance to VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs

The fourth game week of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers 2 group stage has come to an end, following which the teams Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, ACEND, Guild Esports and Team Liquid have secured participation in the championship playoffs. The last, sixth slot in the playoffs will be determined next week - it will be played by BIG and M3 Champions.

Group A

The unequivocal leader of group A was the Fnatic team, which this time got a clean sheet victory over FOKUS (2:0). At the same time, the updated Acend roster fulfilled its main task by beating G2 Esports (2:1) and securing a place in the playoffs of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers 2. In another confrontation between the group, FunPlus Phoenix defeated OG LDN UTD (2:0), thereby securing the right to participate in the next stage of the championship.

Group B

The Guild Esports team remained the undisputed leader of Group B, which got an easy victory over BBL Esports (2:0) and guaranteed access to the playoffs from the first line. Despite the changes in the roster, Team Liquid managed to outplay Natus Vincere (2:1), thus guaranteeing their participation in the playoffs of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers 2. At the same time, BIG sensationally outplayed M3 Champions (2:0), thanks to which she joined the fight for getting into the top three.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers runs from May 13 to June 26 online. Twelve teams from Europe, the CIS and Turkey are fighting for a prize pool of €200,000, ranking points, and three tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters, which will be held in Copenhagen.
