Gaimin Gladiators received an invitation to Gamers8
Ihor MatusTournament operator Gamers8 Esports announced that he had issued another invitation to the Rocket League team. The eSports club Gaimin Gladiators has become the new lucky winner. The team will come to the tournament with a prize pool of $2,000,000 in order to compete for the title of champion.
Earlier, G2 Esports and FaZe Clan received direct invitations. The list of participants already includes such teams as Spacestation Gaming, Complexity Gaming, AllMid, Rogue, Guild Esports, Juicers, SMPR Esports, Luminosity Gaming, Team Falcons, F16 Esports, 01 Esports and OWL Esports.
Spacestation, Complexity Gaming, AllMid and Rogue received invitations as they showed the best results in the North American Gamers Without Borders 2022 tournament. Guild Esports, Juicers, SMPR Esports and Luminosity Gaming entered the top 4 of the European Gamers Without Borders 2022, while Team Falcons, F16 Esports, 01 Esports and OWL Esports showed the best results in a similar tournament for teams from Saudi Arabia.
Gamers8 2022 will take place from July 14th to 17th. The total prize fund will be $2,000,000, and 24 teams will be involved in its division. Considering that Gamers Without Borders tournaments are often charitable in nature, according to established traditions, all the prize money can be distributed among the teams so that they determine at their discretion which charitable organizations the funds will go to. How the fund will be distributed is currently unknown.
