How the bookies view it: T1 Favorite
Before moving on to the team analysis, let’s take a look at what the bookmakers think about this matchup.
Two teams from the LCK face off, and while neither had the most dominant results leading up to Worlds 2025, this matchup still has a clear favorite. The legends and five-time World Champions - T1 - enter with odds around 1.45–1.50, while KT Rolster sit at approximately 2.65. But is it really as straightforward as it seems, or could KT Rolster be on the verge of repeating DRX’s miracle run? Let’s find out.
We’ve seen the bookmakers’ perspective - now let’s move on to the team analysis and stats before diving into our LoL betting tips.
T1 form. What result can be expected from T1
Now let’s do the same with T1 - take a look at their recent tournaments and results.
Place | Tournament | Tier | Opponent | Score |
4th | LCK 2025 Season | S-Tier | Gen.G | 2:3 |
3rd | Esports World Cup 2025 | S-Tier | G2 | 2:0 |
2nd | 2025 Mid-Season Invitational | S-Tier | Gen.G | 2:3 |
2nd | LCK 2025 Road to MSI | Qualifier | Hanwha Life Esports | 3:0 |
5th–6th | LCK Cup 2025 | S-Tier | Hanwha Life Esports | 2:3 |
The 2025 season has been rather inconsistent for T1 - the beginning was especially tough following Zeus’s departure. However, by mid-season, the team managed to regain confidence and once again established themselves as one of the main contenders for the championship title.
As for their performance at Worlds 2025, T1 continue to impress with their remarkable rise. Their match against Anyone’s Legend — which broke all viewership records — and their clean 3:0 sweep over Top Esports make it hard not to call T1 the team that truly deserves the championship title at this year’s Worlds.

KT Rolster played a total of three matches in the Swiss Stage and dropped only one map — against Gen.G. As of now, they hold an almost perfect record with impressive champion statistics.
Recent head to head: T1 Team edging it
Since both teams come from the same region, they’ve faced each other quite often. Out of their last seven encounters, KT Rolster managed to secure only one victory — during the LCK 2025 Rounds 3–5, with a 2:0 score. In all the other matches, T1 came out on top.
Players to watch: Faker and Bdd
Why these two players in particular? Watching Faker is always a pleasure, but Bdd delivered an incredible performance and a true masterclass against Gen.G, almost single-handedly winning the game. The long-standing “El Clásico” mid-lane duel of the LCK — Faker vs Chovy — was completely overshadowed by Bdd’s brilliance. The question now is whether he can replicate that flawless performance against Faker, or if it was just a one-time show.
So, if you’re planning to place a bet, I highly recommend paying close attention to these two players’ champion picks. After all, the outcome of this match will heavily depend on the mid-lane duel.
Predicted result of the match
We’ve come to the conclusion of our Worlds 2025 team analysis, and it’s time to wrap things up with a final prediction. Both teams are in excellent shape heading into the tournament, but only one can emerge victorious.
My LoL betting prediction: a win for T1.
KT Rolster managed to defeat Gen.G — a team that had been showing phenomenal results this year and, on paper, should have been the clear favorite. However, watching that match, it was evident that Gen.G weren’t playing like themselves; their performance looked uncharacteristically shaky. It’s hard to call KT’s victory over Gen.G a true upset — it felt more like Gen.G simply didn’t play to their usual standard.
The same can’t be said about T1, who first took down the incredibly strong Anyone’s Legend and then dominated Top Esports without giving them a chance. Once again, T1 are gaining incredible momentum as the tournament progresses, and I believe they have what it takes to win this matchup as well.
