European Masters Summer 2021: Digest of the fourth game day

Summer split EU Masters has come to its middle and we are summing up the first results with regards to teams and their location in groups.

Group A

In Group A, everything is pretty predictable: the French and the Spaniards took the first places, and the Misfits Premier almost guaranteed themselves a place in the playoffs. The teams that took the first two places play more stable and have stronger players, which translates into such a result.

AGO Rogue undoubtedly disappointed their fans in the first half of the group stage, but that could change.

The Greeks from Anorthosis Esports always start well in their games, but they can not always bring the map to victory.

Group B

Group B has two newcomers to international competitions: Tricked Esports and PENTA 1860. PDW show a good game after the change of organization. It is worth noting that the team acts well at the beginning of the game and if they seized the advantage, then they will not let go.

The Movistar Riders may go 3-0, but few would call this roster confident in the EU Masters. The Spanish team stands out from the crowd as the main favorite of the group, but does not play "strong" enough. Nevertheless, this is enough to practically book a place in the quarter-finals.

Tricked Esports and PENTA 1860 can undoubtedly prove themselves. During these 4 days, the newcomers of the championship showed a good game in the initial stage, but they often made mistakes in the middle of the game, giving away the victory. Hope the day off will help them solve their problems.

Group C

The real battle for the first place took place in Group C. Everything will be decided on September 6, when all the teams will clash for two tickets to the quarter-finals.

BIG and Fnatic Rising have the highest chances of getting out, but the Poles from Illuminar Gaming shouldn't be written off either. Zero Tenacity can still advance to the next stage of the tournament, but for this they will have to win in all the games of the second round.

Group D

Karmine Corp are confidently heading for their second championship: the replacement of Adam with Cabochard did not bring any inconvenience to the team and it still easily defeats its rivals on the international stage.

Macko Esports with their experimental picks have driven themselves into a difficult position from which they will have to get out by winning every game in the second round.
