2020 World Championship: Play-In Stage Results

The Play-In stage has come to an end. We will tell you about the success with which it ended and what awaits us next in the LoL World Championship.

INTZ and V3 Esports were the first to leave the tournament. The teams took the last places in their groups and, as a result, took 21-22 places. Teams will receive 0.6% of the total fund. Team Liquid and PSG Talon, on the other hand, became the first members of the main event group stage to leave the Play-In. This was made possible thanks to their performance and the fact that the teams took first places in their groups.

MAD Lions and Rainbow7 took 19-20 positions and will receive 0.75% of the prize pool each. SuperMassive Esports and Legacy fought in the Play-In Finals and lost to Unicorns of Love and LGD Gaming respectively. The teams took 17-18 places in the standings and will receive 1% of the total fund, which is still unknown.

The 2020 World Championship runs from September 25 to October 31. The teams came to Shanghai in order to determine the winner, who will take the main prize in the amount of 25% of the total prize money.
