The first day of LEC Spring 2024 has come to an end. Results of the matches can be found here
Danil ChepilThe opening matches of LEC Spring 2024 have come to an end. Let's briefly review the results of the teams who came to Berlin to demonstrate their mastery of League of Legends. A small spoiler: on the first day of gameplay, all matches ended in favour of the favourites, while the underdogs couldn't handle their more experienced opponents.
The first match was between Team Vitality and Team Heretics, where Heretics had a good start and, at some point, led on the map. However, despite a challenging start, Team Vitality managed to turn the tide and finish the match with a score of 17:13 in their favour.
Fnatic faced off against Rogue, with the "orange" team dictating the tempo from the start and almost flawlessly dominating Rogue, winning the confrontation with a score of 14:5.
In the match between Team BDS and G2 Esports, the samurais imposed their game almost from the beginning (excluding two initial unanswered frags) and managed to finish the map in 38 minutes.
At the beginning of the match between Karmine Corp and GIANTIX, the second team managed to keep up, but as the game progressed, with a gold lead of over 4,000, they failed to win any successful fights in their favour and predictably lost the opening match of LEC Spring 2024.
The last match was between MAD Lions KOI and SK Gaming. While the Lions had the advantage at the beginning, SK Gaming almost equalised in gold mid-game. However, this didn't help them, as MAD Lions KOI smoothly executed their strategies and secured their first victory in the championship.
